Job summary

Driver Resource are recruiting a Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client based in Ashby de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. The role includes 12 hour shifts shunting curtainsided vehicles in the yard, with potential road work on weekdays and assistance with loading/unloading when required.

Starting times range from 04:00 to 07:00, and applicants should have a minimum of 6 months driving experience, a valid HGV C license, CPC and Digi cards, plus a clean record and good English communication for paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• Flexible attitude to work.
• HGV/LGV C license required.
• CPC card, Digi card and safety boots.
• Good English communication and paperwork handling.

Responsibilities

• Shunt curtainsided vehicles in the yard for 12 hour shifts.
• Opportunity to work road days for extra shifts.
• Assist with loading/unloading as required.
