Job summary

Pertemps Logistic Contracts is seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver for a client site in Ashford. The role involves shunting trailers in and out of bays, moving trailers around the yard, and ensuring safe and legal operation at all times.

Essential requirements include 1 year C+E experience, a clean licence (no more than 6 points), a Digi card, and CPC. Previous shunting experience is essential for this position.

Job description

We are Looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver for ourclientssite in Ashford.

Your role as a Class 1 shunter driver will include: The work will involve shunting trailers in and out of bays, moving trailers around the yard ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times. Escort drivers initially to the waiting area You will be required to take keys from the vehicles to the bays and complete paperwork for any trailer moves to ensure any damage is reported prior to moves to protect against false claims

As an HGV Class 1 shunter driver, you will have:

• 1 year C+E experience is a must
• No more than 6 points
• Digi card and CPC
• Previous experience of shunting is essential
