Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• At least 12 months on licence and relevant experience.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bournemouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunters (CAT C&E) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 02:00am start

Pay Rate: £19.08 per hour / overtime £27.26 after 40 hours.

Job Type: Ongoing

Location: BH21 7BU

The role:

• Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• 12 months on licence and experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
