Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client on a temporary-to-permanent basis from day one. You will drive to manufacturing sites across the UK, with start times around 02:00 and finish by late morning.

Candidate must have HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, Digi card, good communication and a tidy presentation as you will represent the company. Start date immediate or Monday 17th August per ad.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required and up-to-date CPC
• Digi card for Class 1 required
• Willingness to work early start shifts and UK-wide deliveries

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 to manufacturing sites and similar across the UK
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance

Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work to Manufacturing Sites or other similar sites across the UK. Start Time - 0200am, Finish Time approx from 10am to 11am.

Experience with Box Trailers or Curtain Siders essential would be an advantage but not essential, you are doing 1 delivery out and 1 delivery

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

• Same Pay Rate as their drivers from day 1 - £16.50 ph (PAYE)
