Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for an urgent Nottingham role. The position starts with immediate shifts, moving freight to manufacturing sites and other UK destinations. The work begins early, around 02:00, with typical finishes between 10:00 and 11:00, and previous experience with box trailers is a plus.

Salary is £16.50 per hour PAYE, from day one. You must hold a Class 1 licence with up-to-date CPC and Digi card, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate

Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work to Manufacturing Sites or other similar sites across the UK. Start Time - 0200am, Finish Time approx from 10am to 11am.

Experience with Box Trailers or Curtain Siders essential would be an advantage but not essential, you are doing 1 delivery out and 1 delivery

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

• Same Pay Rate as their drivers from day 1 - £16.50 ph (PAYE)
