Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our long-established logistics client based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. You will drive to manufacturing sites and similar locations across the UK, with a mix of day and night starts available.

You must hold an HGV Class 1 licence with up-to-date CPC and Digi card, be punctual and have a positive, professional attitude. Good communication is essential as you may be contactable during shifts. PAYE and umbrella pay options are available.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required.
• CPC for Class 1 up to date.
• Digi card for Class 1 up to date.
• Experience with Curtain Sider/Box Trailers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV to manufacturing sites and similar locations across the UK.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy; present a smart appearance.
• Maintain clear communication and be contactable during shifts.

Our long established logistics client based Sleaford Lincolnshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work to Manufacturing Sites or other similar sites across the UK. Various start times available ranging from Days 0400am to 0800am and Nights from 1600pm onwards.

Experience with Curtain Sider or Box Trailers would be an advantage but not essential, we also have Flat Bed work available should you require this type of work instead.

Licence requirements:

HGV Class 1 Licence

Up to date CPC for your Class 1

Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic

Be punctual

Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)

Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard

Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

Days per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)

Night per hour: £17.00 ph (PAYE), £19.50 ph (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)

Days/Nights - Saturdays - £18.00 (PAYE), £21.00 (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)

Days/Nights - Sundays - £20.00 (PAYE), £23.00 (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)
