Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver for long-term trunking work based in the East Midlands Gateway area. The role involves trunking to other sites, NDCs and RDCs across the UK, with potential permanent pathways.

Shifts available: Days, Monday to Friday. You must hold a Class 1 license (6 months+), a valid tacho and DQC card, and bring a positive, can-do attitude.

Job description

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pertemps have long term stable work for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:

• Days - Monday to Friday

The successful Class 1 Driver will:

• Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card
• Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

• Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
• Trailer swaps and backloads

You will receive:

• Days - £16.95 per hour
• Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £25.43 per hour
• 6th Shift - £25.43 per hour
