Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Hams Hall depot to support growing customer demand. The role offers 4 on 4 off days with start times around 05:00 and pay of £16.54 per hour plus a weekly shift allowance of £40.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure correct goods are loaded, and execute trunking and multi-drop deliveries in compliance with drivers hours regulations. English communication is essential, and CPC and DigiTacho are required.

Qualifications

• C+E licence, DigiTacho and CPC are required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear English communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Verify correct goods are loaded and secured before moving.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries within timetable and drivers hours rules.
• Confirm deliveries with customers and obtain signatures/paperwork before returning to depot.
