Job summary

Lineage is recruiting for a driver in Peterborough to join a large, global logistics team. The role runs Monday to Friday on day shifts with a pay rate of £16.54 per hour, paid weekly. Overtime after 39 hours is time-and-a-half.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, loading/unloading, trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and obtaining customer signatures. Applicants should hold a C+E licence with DigiTacho and CPC, have Class 1 experience, and be able to lift up to 18kg.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Able to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear English communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Load correct goods and secure them before movement.
• Perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries; comply with drivers’ working time regulations.
• Confirm deliveries with customers and obtain signatures before returning to depot.
