Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for an HGV 1 Driver to join a prestigious national client at the Defence Fulfilment Centre in Hortonwood. This temporary ongoing role offers potential progression to permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include daytime or night trunking and multi-drop runs with varying schedules; you will drive class 1 vehicles with different trailers and swap trailers as needed.

Qualifications

• C+E Licence - CPC + DIGI Card
• Last 5 years’ worth of work history (referenced)
• Clear enhanced DBS processed on your behalf
• Held C+E license for at least 2 years, with at least 6 months experience driving class 1 vehicles
• ADR licence qualification for successful Temp to Perm Drivers

Responsibilities

• Shift options Day work, night work (evening starts), trunking, or multi-drop options with varying flexibility
• Driving arctic heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load
• Long distance trunking work between customer sites (1-3 drops and back)
• Trailer swapping
