Job summary

Barker Ross Group are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver in Whitchurch. This is a full-time role with day or night shifts; start times 01:00-07:00 or 16:00-19:00 with a window you can choose within this frame.

Driving a HGV1 Artic, you will typically have around 5 drops per day to RDCs, production sites and cash and carries. Expect 10 hour shifts, rarely above 12 hours; no handball, some pump truck use.

Qualifications

• 12 months driving experience with at least 2 years on licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho are required.
• Licence must have no IN10/DR10 and not exceed 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV1 Artic vehicle.
• Make an average of 5 drops per day.
• Carry palletised goods; no handball; some pump truck use.

Shift Pattern - Days start time range 01:00 - 07:00, Night start time range 16:00 - 19:00
Drivers can select preferred start time window within the above frame, this will be discussed with the agency -

Responsibilities:

• HGV1 Artic vehicle
• Average 5 drops per day
• All palletised goods, no handball, some pump truck usage
• Drops to RDC, Production sites, Cash and Carry's
• Average 10 hour days, wont go above 12 hours
• NO handball
• Full time work available, weekend availability preferred but not essential
• Assessment day on first shift - paid

Qualification/experience:
