Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting a HGV Class 1 Driver for Whitchurch. Shift windows available include early mornings (01:00–07:00) and evenings (16:00–19:00); you may select a preferred start within these ranges. Full time role with paid assessment day on first shift.

Responsibilities include operating HGV1 Artic vehicles, making approx. 5 drops daily to RDCs and production sites. Pay is £17.50 per hour PAYE with onsite parking and weekly shift bookings.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience with 2 years on licence.
• Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
• Drivers must not have an IN10 or DR10 on licence and cannot exceed 6 points.

• Drive HGV1 Artic vehicle.
• Average 5 drops per day.
• All palletised goods, no handball, some pump truck usage.
• Drops to RDC, Production sites, Cash and Carrys.
• Average 10 hour days, wont go above 12 hours.
• NO handball.
• Full time work available, weekend availability preferred but not essential.
• Assessment day on first shift - paid.
