Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in West Yorkshire is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our operations and deliver goods safely and on time. You will work on Sundays to Thursdays with start times between 16:00 and 18:00, up to 45 hours per week.

You'll hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with at least 12 months driving experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a strong pension, 24/7 GP and employee discounts.

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• 12 months recent driving experience or more.
• Able to work independently, manage time well and perform drop- and-swap trailer movements safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with health and safety standards and road regulations.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Perform trunking runs from the brewery to various sites and warehouse feeds.
• Conduct drop- and-swap trailer movements.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as warehouse feeds for dray operations
• Performing drop- and-swap trailer movements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months recent driving experience
• Are confident working independently, managing time well, and handling drop- and-swap trailer movements safely.
