Job summary

Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer is seeking a Class 1 HGV driver to join our rental operation. You will deliver and collect vehicles from customer sites, company branches and workshop premises, ensuring safe, professional handling and reliable service.

Qualifications

Holds a current UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence.
Holds a current UK Driver Qualification Card.
Follows driving rules, regulations and safe systems of work.
Completes basic forms and paperwork accurately.
Brings a flexible, polite and professional approach to varied journeys and vehicles.

Responsibilities

Deliver and collect vehicles from customer sites, company branches and workshop premises.
Present vehicles for MOT and assist with parking equipment securely and correctly.
Complete daily vehicle checks covering oil, water and tyre condition.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents and traffic offences promptly.
Support with vehicle cleaning, check in and check out activities when required.
