Job summary

Dawsongroup Truck & Trailer is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our UK delivery and collection team. You will play a vital role in keeping our rental operations moving and delivering exceptional service to customers.

The role requires a valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence and Driver Qualification Card, with a focus on safety, professionalism and flexibility across varied journeys and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Hold a current UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence and Driver Qualification Card.
• Demonstrate safe and responsible driving with a customer-focused approach.
• Flexible, polite and professional in varied journeys and duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect vehicles from customer sites, branches and workshops.
• Present vehicles for MOT and assist with parking to the correct areas.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Clean vehicles to company standards and support other duties as required.
• Assist with check in/out, office duties and transporting colleagues or guests.
