Job summary

Dawsongroup is seeking a Class 1 Driver to help keep our rental operation moving by delivering and collecting vehicles with professionalism and safety. The role involves on-site driving across customer sites and company branches, with regular vehicle checks and documentation tasks.

You will hold a UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licence and a Driver Qualification Card, and you should bring a flexible, polite, and professional attitude for varied journeys and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Hold a current, valid UK Driver Qualification Card.
• Follow driving rules, regulations and safe systems of work.
• Complete basic forms and paperwork accurately.
• Bring a flexible, polite and professional approach to varied journeys and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect vehicles from customer sites, Company branches and workshop premises.
• Present vehicles for MOT and assist with parking equipment securely and correctly.
• Complete daily vehicle checks covering oil, water and tyre condition.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents and traffic offences promptly.
• Support with vehicle cleaning, check in and check out activities when required.
