Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Port Sunlight is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for clean trunking work with a global consumer goods client. You will drive planned trunking routes, complete daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are secure before departure.

We are looking for a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence and a Driver CPC; 6+ months' experience is preferred. Benefits include competitive rates, flexible shifts, and ongoing work opportunities.

• Digital Tachograph Card and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned trunking routes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Ensure loads are safe, secure and compliant before departure.
• Carry out clean trunking work between distribution centres.
• Represent client professionally at all times.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Clean Trunking

Location: Port Sunlight

Pay: £18.49 to £22.97 per hour

Shifts: Days, Nights, Full Time, Part Time & 4 on 4 off available – rotas booked in advance

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

What We're Looking For:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• At least 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card
• Up to 6 licence points accepted (no DD, DR, CD, TT or IN endorsements)
• A professional attitude with good communication skills
