Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Warrington team for trunking and tramping work. Drivers will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes, with 7-day shifts including AM, PM and Night options.

We offer weekly pay, ongoing work, opportunities for training and 24/7 on-call support. UK residents with a valid HGV Class 1 licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph card need apply.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 12 months experience.
• Current UK DCPC card and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Up to 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements).
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.
• Majority trunking work.
• Minimal to no handballing.
• Tramping also available.
• Follow driving laws and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.

Location: Warrington

Pay Rate: £16.40 to £18.37 p/h

Shifts: 7 day working operation – AM, PM and Night shifts available – shifts to suit all

• A professional attitude and good communication skills
