Boughey Distribution, part of NWF Group, is expanding its driver team at Wardle on the Night shift (5 on, 3 off) on a permanent contract. You will complete vehicle checks, ensure safe delivery across Cheshire and surrounding areas, and assist with yard operations including handball or pump truck deliveries where required.

Current CPC and tachograph card with knowledge of driver hours regulations, plus previous Class 1 experience and strong communication with customers and on-site teams are

Competenze

• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries at delivery and collaborate with the Boughey team on site.

Mansioni

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift – complying with all HGV driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard.

Due to continued growth and investment in our top of the range fleet, we are growing our driver population across our Wardle site on the Night shift working 5 on 3 off, on a permanent contract!

Day to Day

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift –complyingwithall HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries where required

What will you bring?

• Current CPC and tachograph cardwith a good understanding of driver hours regulations
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Excellent communication skills to be able to handle both customer queries at point of delivery and collaborate effectively with the Boughey team on site
