Job summary

Manpower UK seeks an experienced Class 1 driver for its Haverfordwest logistics client. This temporary contract offers 4-on, 4-off patterns with days or nights, including trunking, deliveries and collections. A strong focus on safety and driver wellbeing underpins the role.

The successful candidate will hold a valid C+E licence, CPC and a digital tachograph card, with solid knowledge of drivers' hours rules. Training and ongoing assignments provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work days, nights or tramping shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in line with transport legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries, collections, and trunking routes efficiently and on schedule.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at all customer and depot locations.
