Job summary

HireGiant is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client’s operation in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This full-time role offers day shifts or night starts with potential for permanent placement.

You will perform trunking between DCs/RDCs, handle deliveries, conduct vehicle checks, and ensure paperwork and compliance with WTD and Tachograph rules. Weekend shifts are optional.

Qualifications

Holding a valid Category C+E licence entitlement.
Must have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Safety boots and a Hi-Vis vest are required.

Responsibilities

Make goods deliveries to DCs and RDCs.
Trunking between two points or 2–3 drops per day.
Ensure delivery is documented and paperwork is in order.
Carry out HGV vehicle checks.
Comply with WTD and EU Tachograph rules while driving.
Work Monday to Friday, with optional weekend shifts.

Class 1 Driver - Days- On-going.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!

The Role:

Making goods deliveries to DCs and RDCs
Work is simple trunking between two points or 2/3 drops per day.
Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
Completing HGV vehicle checks
Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
Starting around days 08:00am- shifts between 8-12 hours OR on nights 18:00pm start.

Requirements:
