Job summary

HireGiant is seeking an experienced HGV 1 Driver to join our client in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a full-time LGV role with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities include delivering palletised goods to businesses, ensuring paperwork is in order, operating a pump truck and tail lift, performing vehicle checks, and adhering to WTD and EU tachograph rules. Monday to Friday shifts start between 06:00 and 08:00, with 50+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Category C+E licence entitlement
• CPC card
• Digital Tachograph card

• Completing HGV vehicle checks

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced HGV 1 Driver to work with our client based in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position!

The Role:

• Making palletised goods deliveries to businesses
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Operating a pump truck and tail lift when required
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting between 06:00 am - 08:00 am, completing between 50+ hours per week

Requirements:

• Category C+E licence entitlement
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Pay Rates (PAYE):

£18.25 - £19.37 per hour (Monday to Friday)

Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent
