Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Tipper Driver in Lincoln to operate HGV Class 1 and occasional Class 2 vehicles for a cement/aggregates client. Training provided for tipper work and daily checks will be routine.

You need 12 months Class 1 experience, a valid UK DCPC and Digi-tacho, and must meet WTD standards. Visa assistance is not provided; travel to site for shifts is required.

Class 1 Tipper Driver - Role & Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
• Performing tipperwork (training provided if required)
• Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness
• Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
• Completing daily paperwork accurately

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About You

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
