Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is looking for an experienced Class 1 Tipper Driver to join their team in Halkyn/Holywell (Wales). You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, perform tipper work, and complete daily paperwork, with early start times (06:00) from Monday to Friday and occasional overtime on Saturdays.

Applicants must have a Class 1 driving licence, at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, and UK DCPC plus Digi-tacho cards.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 driving licence.
• At least 12 months of experience driving commercially.
• Must hold UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards.
• No DD, TT, DR, CD or IN endorsements accepted.
• Up-to-date with current WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Perform tipperwork (training provided if required).
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and keep cab/trailer clean.
• Ensure loads are placed and secured correctly.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.

Class 1 Tipper Driver - role & Responsibilities:

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles
• Performing tipperwork (training provided if required)
• Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness
• Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
• Completing daily paperwork accurately

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
