Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for their Winsford operation, delivering furniture across the UK. You'll work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 9 hours per day, temp to perm, starting ASAP.

A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card are essential. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries to care homes and hospitals, placing furniture in customers' rooms, handling packaging, and maintaining reliability while travelling nationwide.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification/card.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to care homes and hospitals across the UK.
• Deliver furniture directly into customers' homes and position in rooms.
• Unload and remove packaging; maintain clean vehicle.
• Adhere to allocated delivery times and routes; travel across the UK.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Winsford, working on multi-drop furniture deliveries across the UK.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle
• Multi-drop deliveries to care homes and hospitals
• Delivering furniture directly into customers' homes and placing it in the required rooms
• Stripping furniture and turning handles as required
• Removing and returning all packaging
• Following allocated delivery times for each job
• Travelling throughout the UK
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

Requirements & Documents

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification/card
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Wagon & Drag experience would be advantageous
• Good customer service skills and a professional manner
• Physically fit and comfortable with furniture deliveries
• Reliable and punctual
• Right to work in the UK
