The Best Connection is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for regular trunking and deliveries in Wednesbury. Expect a straightforward workload with typically 2–3 drops per day and no handball, in a modern, well-maintained fleet.

You’ll be supported by a friendly team, with reliable, ongoing work and competitive pay: £16.00 per hour, plus £24.00 per hour overtime after 8 hours, plus holiday entitlement and a company pension where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles.
• Completing deliveries efficiently while meeting scheduled delivery times.
• Typically carrying out only 2 to 3 drops per day.
• No handball required.
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately.
• Following all Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
