Job summary

Ignition is seeking a professional driver for a Class 1 role in the Enfield area. You will perform multidrop deliveries, pallet collection, trunking and shunting, with loading/unloading duties using tail lifts and MHE. Standard paperwork and daily vehicle checks are part of the job.

The ideal candidate has a Class 1 licence, at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, and the required DCPC and Digi-tacho cards. You must be a UK resident and able to travel to the site for shifts.

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle for multidrop deliveries and trunking, including pallet collection.

Job Summary

Location: Enfield; Pay Rate: £19.89 to £20.45 p/h; Shifts: various; Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E); Experience: 6 months commercial driving essential.

About Your Role

Driving a Class 1 vehicle, multidrop deliveries and pallet collection, trunking and shunting, loading and unloading with the use of a tail lift and MHE. Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.

About You

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. The client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly. You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with visas) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
