Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a leading national retailer for Class 1 (C+E) drivers. The role offers £18.74 per hour, a 4:30 PM start and guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift, with ongoing, long-term work.

Role involves multi‑drop deliveries of household appliances and electrical goods to stores and distribution points. Some heavy lifting and manual handling required; candidates must be reliable, professional, and able to work safely to transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and heavy manual handling.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of household appliances and electrical goods to stores and distribution points.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and in line with transport regulations.

Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular night work with excellent rates of pay? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national retailer and are looking for reliable drivers to join their growing transport team.

What's on Offer?

• £18.74 per hour
• 4:30 PM start time
• Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift
• 4 on 4 off or 5 shifts per week available
• Additional weekend shifts available
• Ongoing, long-term work

The Role

This is a multi-drop delivery position involving the transportation of household appliances and electrical goods to stores and distribution points. Drivers can expect a varied workload with multiple deliveries throughout each shift.

Please note that some deliveries may require heavy lifting and manual handling, so candidates should be comfortable with physical work when required. You'll be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.
