Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our Worcester depot on a permanent basis. You will complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites across the UK and maintain professional standards and paperwork.

The role features a 45-hour week, overtime paid at time and a half, a monthly bonus up to £150 after probation, and fully provided uniform and kit. A valid Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and good timekeeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence (Category C) and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience; multi-drop preferred.
• Excellent timekeeping and customer service skills.
• Health & Safety conscious with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites.
• Average of 15 drops per day.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and professionally executed.
• Comply with Driver Hours and transport legislation.

Class 2 Driver

Salary: £16.32 per hour

Our client, a well-established distribution business supplying products to commercial customers across the UK, are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their Worcester depot on a permanent basis, completing multi-drop deliveries whilst providing a high standard of customer service.

Job Overview

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites
• Average of 15 drops per day
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Ensure deliveries are completed professionally and on time
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and vehicle records
• Keep vehicles clean, fuelled, and ready for operation
• Report any incidents or accidents in line with company procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 month Class 2 Experience
• Previous multi-drop driving experience would be advantageous
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and transport legislation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Health & Safety conscious with a professional approach
