Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are seeking a professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client in Bilston, West Midlands. You will operate a Low Loader and complete daily checks to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a UK Class 1 licence, DCPC and Tachograph card, with potential for 8-week temp-to-perm progression and immediate starts. Weekly pay and overtime opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Pay Rate: £16.07 - £18.00 p/h(£16.07 basic + £1.93 holiday pay = £18.00 total)

Shifts: Full Time (average 50 hours a week)

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:

• Driving a Low Loader

Please note that a driving assessment may be required before your first shift.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
