E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Plant Driver to join a leading UK specialist in sports surface construction. You will transport heavy plant and machinery to high-profile sites nationwide, ensuring safe delivery and compliance with regulations.

Role features day shifts, Monday to Friday, with accommodation provided where required and opportunities for training and career development. You will work with a professional team across the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence with CPC and driving duties across the UK.
• Experience operating HGV Low Loader/Flat Bed vehicles.
• Knowledge of loading, unloading and securing plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a HGV Low Loader transporting plant and machinery to sites across the UK.
• Load, unload and securely restrain a variety of large machines/equipment.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle to a high standard.
• Deliver equipment safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Comply with road traffic legislation and company health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate deliveries with site teams to ensure smooth operations.

Location

Worcester with travel across the UK including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Stoke-on-Trent, Oxford, Reading and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Valid HGV commercial driving licence with CPC
• Experience operating HGV Low Loader Flat Bed vehicles
• Knowledge of loading, unloading and securing a wide range of plant machinery
• Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations
• Excellent time management and communication skills
