Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Swadlincote is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our growing team on a full-time basis. You will trunk stock, deliver and collect goods, and handle occasional loading with tail-lift while complying with transport regulations.

We offer a 48-hour week on a 4-on-2-off pattern (06:00–21:30), competitive pay with loyalty and safety bonuses, pension, and access to on-line benefits and GXO University to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years.
• Previous experience driving C+E vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Trunk stock from DC to DC
• Deliver and collect goods to and from various customers
• Occasional loading and unloading using tail-lift
• Some curtain side work to be expected.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
• Potential requirement to cover class 2 work

This is a full time, permanent role you will be contracted to work48 hoursper week on the shift pattern of4 on 2 offwith shifts starts available in the time window of06:00 – 21:30

What you will do on a typical day:
