Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Northampton is seeking skilled Class 2 drivers to join our Click and Collect contract.

You will make deliveries and collections on customer premises, complete daily vehicle safety checks, and manage delivery paperwork on a 48-hour-per-week schedule with a 4 on, 2 off shift, start times between 04:00 and 06:00. Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.
• Computer literate, experience of WMS systems and MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects to the transport team.
• Ensure all delivery documentation, including PODs, manifests, and associated paperwork, is completed accurately.
• Comply with GXO Health & Safety policies, transport legislation, and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, including vehicle cleanliness, personal appearance, and customer service.
