Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our Rochdale Transport team on a full-time basis. The role offers a 40-hour week with early starts between 04:00 and 07:00, occasional night outs, and a clear path for growth within a supportive company.

You will trunk and tramp deliveries to RDCs, operate company vehicles safely, complete paperwork on time, and adhere to drivers hours and tachograph regulations. A full EU driving licence (C+E) and Driver CPC are required.

Qualifications

• EU driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Driver CPC validation required.
• Tachograph card must be valid.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week,on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday with start time between 04:00 - 07:00. Further details regarding your shift pattern and working schedule will be provided during the assessment process, as this role may involve occasional night outs depending on operational requirements.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Trunking and tramping deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
