Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. Bolton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team, delivering goods to retail stores and customer premises nationwide within a 5 on 3 off pattern. Start times range from 16:00 to 22:00, with a contracted 48 hours per week.

You will hold a full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement, valid Tachograph cards and a commitment to safe, compliant operation. The role offers a competitive annual salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• Previous experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods using single and double deck lorries to retail stores and customer premises nationwide, completing scheduled drops efficiently.
• Complete 2 to 3 deliveries per day, transporting palletised and free-standing goods.
• Safely unload goods at delivery destinations with assistance for two-person lifts where required.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner with accurate documentation.

Here atGXO Logistics Bolton we are looking for HGV Class 1 Driverto join our transport team, working in partnership with our customer, Currys. You will be part of a crew that is with you every step of the journey, supporting you on the road and beyond.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a '5 on 3 off' pattern, with start time window of 16:00 to 22:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Deliver goods using single and double deck lorries to retail stores and customer premises nationwide, working efficiently to complete scheduled drops
• Complete 2 to 3 deliveries per day, transporting both palletised and free-standing goods
• Safely unload goods upon arrival at each delivery destination with assistance provided for two-person lifts where required
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
