Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is recruiting professional Class 1 Drivers for trunking work in Barnsley. Report to the Barnsley depot at the start and end of your shift to collect and load vehicles, then complete deliveries safely and accurately.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence with UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, with knowledge of tachograph regulations. Roles involve day shifts with no overnights, offering immediate starts and ongoing work.

Pay Rate: £17.25 - £23.25 p/h Working Hours: Monday to Sunday03:00 -22:30 start times (Part Time/ Ad-Hoc)

About you:

You will need a professional attitude and good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations, good timekeeping skills and be safety conscious.

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence, and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
