Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced Class 1 driver for a Monday to Friday role with regular local movements. You will operate wagon and drag units, moving trailers and containers with minimal handballing and a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and be prepared for a DBS check. This is a reliable, professional role with ongoing assignments and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• DBS check may be required.
• RoRo experience is essential.
• Experience operating wagon and drag units.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-drop wagon and drag units, transporting loads between local plants.
• Move trailers and containers with minimal manual handling.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement across sites and maintain compliance.
• Demonstrate reliability and professional conduct during shifts.

Job description

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 16:00

This is a

multi-drop wagon and drag role, transporting up to two full or empty loads between local plants. The role involves minimal manual handling, with the primary focus on safe and efficient movement of trailers and containers across sites.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous

RoRo (Roll-On/Roll-Off) experience is essential

• Experience operating wagon and drag units
• Strong focus on safety and vehicle compliance
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Required to undertake a DBS check
