Job summary

The Best Connection in Wellingborough is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers on a temp-to-perm basis for UK deliveries with curtainsider trailers and 3–5 drops per shift. All loads are pre-loaded and drivers ensure load safety and complete delivery paperwork.

Shifts run Mon-Fri from 17:00 to 19:00 with pay at £18 per hour and £20 overtime after 45 hours. This role offers ongoing work through 2026 and attractive perks.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 (HGV) drivers with our global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is an temp to perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role

Class 1 (C+E) - Main duties and requirements are:

• UK based deliveries
• Curtainsider trailers
• 3-5 drops with timed deliveries
• Pre loaded vehicles
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• 17:00pm - 19:00pm starts
• Mon - Fri shifts

Pay

• £18.00 per hour
• £20.00 per hour overtime (after 45 hours)
