Job summary

GI Group United Kingdom is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel network in Exeter (EX5). Shifts are mainly Monday to Friday with weekend work available and average 12-hour shifts.

Pay rates include £20.34 per hour on weekdays, £23.52 on Saturdays and £26.25 on Sundays, including overtime after 8 hours at £25.25 per hour. You will conduct vehicle checks, trunk to depots and hubs, and manage workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsements.
• Valid Tachograph & CPC required.
• Good customer service skills.
• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
