Job summary

Briggs Equipment in Maidenhead is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. You will follow daily transport plans, deliver a high standard of service to customers, and maintain vehicle safety and compliance.

A Class 1 Licence (C+E) with Digi Tacho Card and CPC cards is required. Previous loading/unloading of access equipment is an advantage. We offer a competitive salary, contributory pension, and career development.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence (C+E) Digi Tacho Card and all up to date CPC cards.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player with strong customer service.
• Previous experience loading/unloading access equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard of service to customers.
• Follow daily transport plans and schedules.

• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports.
• Maintain tachograph and transport records.
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and maintained.

We have a new opportunity for a Class 1 Driverto join our team based inMaidenhead.

The role:

• Deliver a high standard of service to all customers.
• Follow daily transport plans and schedules.
• Comply with all current and future transport legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports via the compliance app
• Maintain accurate tachograph and transport records.
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment using straps, chains, and other restraints.
• Keep vehicleclean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Report all incidents in line with company and legal procedures.
• Communicate with customers prior to arrival.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Class 1Licence (C+E) Digi Tacho Card and all up to date CPC cards.
• Good communication skills
• Team player, personable with good customer service skillsPrevious experience loading and unloading of access equipment would be an advantage.
