Job summary

Temp Station Ltd in Gretna is recruiting for a class 1 driver to operate trunk runs and trailer swaps from set hubs nationwide. The role involves no manual handling, strict adherence to health and safety, and timely paperwork.

You must hold a full C+E license, Digi card and CPC, with at least six months’ experience for insurance purposes; a clean license (no more than 6 points) and good communication are essential. This agency role offers working Monday to Friday with various start times.

Qualifications

• No DD, DR, IN offences.

Responsibilities

• Trunk run and trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide.

• Work to all WTD rules.
• Set runs with timed drops, Monday to Friday.
• Start dates vary over the next weeks.
• Agency role with ad-hoc weeks.

Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Gretna DG16

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide
• Ensure the companys Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To communicate with transport office
• To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner
• To work to all WTD rules
• Set runs with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times
• Start dates various over the next few weeks
• This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

• Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
• Minimum 6 months experience required for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills required.
• No DD, DR, INs and no more than 6 points on your license.
• We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.

PAY RATES

• PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
• PAYE drivers only
