Job summary

Temp Station Ltd in Bristol (BS3) are recruiting class 1 container drivers to work on days or nights for a national logistics client. You will collect containers and deliver them to customers, with 1–3 deliveries per day and possible trailer swaps.

Training is available for candidates with limited container experience; an induction and assessment on site are mandatory before starting. A Category C+E licence, CPC and Digi card, full PPE, and customer service skills are required.

Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on days OR nights for our client based in Bristol (BS3)

Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.

The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.

Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.

Job Role:

• Consistently exceed client expectations.

• Collect and drop boxes safely and securely.

• Adhere to driver rules and regulations
• Complete the relevant paperwork
• Comply with security regulations
• Ensure uniforms are clean and neat
• Keep Vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition.
• Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance.
• Candidates must have good communication skills

Driver requirements:

• Must have a Category C+E Licence
• 6 months class 1 containers experience preferred, though not essential as training packages can be provided for the right candidates.
• CPC and Digi card
• Full PPE
• Provide a high level of customer service skills
• Clean uniforms Hi Viz and company logo uniform can be provided at no cost.
