Job summary

Temp Station Ltd in the UK is recruiting class 1 drivers for afters/nights from Southampton (SO15) to perform trunk runs and trailer swaps with minimal manual handling.

You will communicate with the transport office, complete all paperwork, and work to WTD rules. Start times range 13:00–00:00, with several start dates in the coming weeks; agency work and weekly variation are possible.

Qualifications

• Full C+E license and CPC are required for insurance and compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with transport office and teams.
• Attention to paperwork and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK

Due to client growth we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on afters/nights for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Southampton (SO15)

The average is around 3 to 4 trailer swaps, there is no manual handling involved

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be a trunk run/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide

Ensure the companys Health and Safety policy is adhered to

To communicate with transport office

To complete all paperwork in an orderly manner

To work to all WTD rules

This is a set run with timed drops working Monday to Friday on a range of start times between 13.00pm and 00.00am

Start dates various over the next few weeks

This role is agency work and adhoc not guaranteed every week

Skills and Experience

Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.

1 Years experience required for insurance purposes.

Good communication skills required.

No DD, DR, INs and no more than 6 points on your license.

PAY RATES

PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73
