Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is recruiting class 1 container drivers for our client in Southampton (SO15). You will use a skeleton trailer to pick up containers and deliver to customers, typically making 1–3 deliveries a day with possible trailer swaps.

Shifts are Monday to Friday nights, with start times between 17:00 and 19:00, on an ongoing basis. Training is available for candidates with limited container experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Category C+E Licence
• 6 months class 1 container experience preferred, training packages can be provided for the right candidates
• CPC and Digi card
• Provide a high level of customer service skills
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Willing to work days or nights

Responsibilities

• Collect and drop containers safely and securely.
• Follow the client's policies and procedures.
• Adhere to driver rules and regulations.
• Complete the relevant paperwork.
• Comply with security regulations.
• Keep vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition.
• Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance.

Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on Days & Nights for our client based in Southampton (SO15)

Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.

The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.

Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.

Working times are Monday to Friday Nights with start times typically between 17:00pm and 19:00pm, on an ongoing basis.
