Job summary

Backline Logistics is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client team with Monday to Friday starts at 06:00. You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, delivering and collecting building materials across the UK, with an average of up to 4 nights out per week depending on work needs.

You must hold a HGV Class 1 licence with up-to-date CPC & Digi Tacho Card, and bring a positive attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Qualifications

• Must hold a HGV Class 1 licence.
• Up to date CPC & Digi Tacho Card.
• Positive attitude to work.
• Ability to work on your own initiative is a must.
• Be available for occasional nights out.
• Moffat experience an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Max 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/collect building materials across the UK.
• Occasional lifting to assist unloading.
• Route plans will be provided. Can be rural routes.

Job description

You will be required to deliver/collect building materials across the UK.

Occasional lifting to assist unloading.

Route plans will be provided. Can be rural routes.

Moffat experience an advantage but not essential.

Experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Could lead to a temp to perm role for the right candidate.
