Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for ongoing shifts based around Hereford/Abergavenny. Earn £17.00-£19.05 per hour with Monday to Friday work and starting times between 05:00 and 07:00.

You'll drive Class 1 vehicles, handle flatbed loads, strap and secure them, complete paperwork, and maintain daily vehicle checks, while adhering to Driver Hours regulations and safety standards. Weekly pay and regular hours make this a solid, reliable driving role.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Confident strapping and securing loads.
• Good understanding of Driver Hours regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities
