Job summary

GI Group in Crawley is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network. You will conduct vehicle checks, trunk to depots and deliver safely across the UK, prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

Shifts are 13 hours, Monday to Friday. Pay rates include PAYE with advanced holiday pay: £20.34/hr (Mon-Fri), £25.94/hr (Sat), £28.95/hr (Sun). Applicants must have Tachograph & CPC valid and at least 12 months Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance and positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points; check codes (DD/IN/DR/DN/TT) not endorsed.
• Valid Tachograph & CPC in date.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Crawley (RH10) for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks.

Drivers shifts:

• - 1300-2030 starts
• - Monday to Friday
• - Average 12 hour shift
• - Monday to Friday: - £20.34 per hour *
• - Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• - Sunday: £28.95 per hour *
• * Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• - Conducting Vehicle checks
• - Trunking work to depots
• - Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• - Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• - A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• - No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• - Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• - Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
