Job summary

Gi Group in Bristol are recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel network. The role includes 1300-2030 starts, Monday to Friday, with average 12-hour shifts and competitive hourly pay rates.

Pay rates are PAYE including advanced holiday pay: Monday-Friday £20.34/hr, Saturday £25.94/hr and Sunday £28.95/hr. Applicants must have Tachograph & CPC, 12 months Class 1 experience, and a clean licence.

Qualifications

• Must have presentable appearance and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points on license; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Must hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

Responsibilities

Drivers shifts

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12 hour shift

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
