Job summary

Driver Hire Warrington is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for immediate vacancies across the UK. Expect daily starts around 07:00, with variable shifts and ongoing work with established logistics clients. Full training and support will be provided as you settle into your new role.

New pass drivers are welcome and you will have the flexibility to select your preferred days on a week-by-week basis, making this a convenient option for many drivers seeking consistent work in the transport sector.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with CE entitlement or above.
• Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards.
• No DR, IN or TT conviction codes on your licence.
• The ability to work independently in an efficient manner

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks, before & after each shift.
• Distribute goods to businesses & construction sites.
• Complete roughly 4–6 deliveries per day.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
• Interact with customers in a friendly & respectful manner

Class 1 Driver HGV

£17.37 - £18.49 per hour

Driver Hire are currently looking for a number of class 1 HGV drivers. Regardless of your level of experience, we have class 1 HGV driving roles available immediately.

As the nations number 1 provider of logistics staff, we have a wide range of positions readily available, working with a variety of builders merchants & hauliers, who are all well established businesses within the transport industry.

We will support you with your tachograph and gain you experience in HGV vehicles, to get you confident in your new career.

Working with an agency who values you as an integral member of the team, you will be given complete freedom to choose which days you wish to work on a week by week basis.

Whilst working as a class 1 HGV driver with us, you will typically be expected to:

• Commence work at around 07:00 each morning


• Carry out daily vehicle checks, before & after each shift


• Ensure every delivery load is strapped securely


• Distribute goods to businesses & construction sites


• Complete roughly 4-6 deliveries per day


• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly


• Interact with customers in a friendly & respectful manner
