Job summary

Hiregiant Ltd is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver for night shifts at a Normanton depot. You will deliver goods to client sites using a curtain-sided trailer and complete delivery paperwork accurately.

Start times 18:00 or 20:00, Monday to Friday with weekend work available; shift length 10–13 hours. Requires valid Class 1 (C+E), CPC and Digital Tachograph, and at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence (C+E) required.
• CPC & Tachograph card required.
• Excellent customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to clients' customers.

Class 1 Driver

We're currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a well-established logistics company based in Normanton. This is a night shift delivery to other depots.

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering goods to the clients customers.


• Operating a Class 1 Curtain Sided trailer


• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately


• Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times

Hours & Pay

Start Times: 18:00 or 20:00

Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)

Shift Length: 10-13 hour days

Pay Rate: £17.94 ph PAYE

Holiday accrued per week

Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence


• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card


• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience


• Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred


• Ability to operate a pump truck and tail lift safely


• Excellent communication and customer service skills
